4TH – 15TH APRIL | SEASON VETERANS BACK ON BOARD

A LINEUP OF SEASONED MANGO VETERANS

They understand — no overplanning. They leave it up to us, and that’s the best recipe to score!

EVERYWHERE ELSE AND IN BETWEEN

With swell on the lean side and the constant N–NW wind threatening to ruin the party, it became a game of instinct this trip — less following forecast apps, more lookoutthewindow.com — and it worked.

Alone for most of the trip, some well-known breaks, some not-so-well-known breaks, and a bit of everything in between.

Just us, sharing fun waves. It is what it’s all about!

GOYANGS TO THE RESCUE

Tricky devil winds would puff up at most breaks most days, and swell was barely registering to start, but “Goyangs” did us well.

The first look wasn’t so great, but we returned later in the trip knowing we could sit there by ourselves and go top to bottom all day. By the end, the boys had it dialled.

“If I just had that surf in Sydney, that would be the best session of the year.” - Michael

NEVER MISS A FOXY MISSION

No rush on this trip. Mornings rolled into afternoons. Lots of cruising and taking it easy.

One afternoon, someone floated the idea — go for a fish. Lukewarm start, but by the time the Foxy Lady fired up, it was a full house onboard.

Some Aussie classics on the speaker, a few sunset tins, and Mike scores a nice wahoo at sunset. How good are cruisy Foxy Lady afternoons!

WE HEAR IT EVERY TRIP, BUT THERE’S A REASON!

Fresh catch of wahoo = Situ’s fish’n’chips.

“That was honestly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.” Mike

Hard to argue when you harvested lunch yourself.

WHO WAS ONBOARD

Special Thanks

The crew, as always. Matt, Nick, Rob, Brock, Michael, and Ray for trusting the process.

12 months goes quick. See you guys again next trip.

Yours truly, Uncle Lip..
