October 24th – November 4th

Mikkies Turn

Northey and the high officials of kangaroo court came for the beers, haircuts, good weather and countless hours of banter…..and the waves were just a bonus.

Nothing but Blue

The trip came with clear blue skies and not a drop of rain - postcard perfection every day. Even with the small to mid-size swell we had, the light morning easterlies to light trades afternoon combo gave us plenty of options for waves this trip. From Bintangs to Bangkok, we were met with dreamy conditions everywhere.

Tradition Is Tradition

On the Mango we pride ourselves on following tradition and with the continuous flow of beer and nonstop banter it was only a matter of time before someone got a haircut. On this trip a spilt beer meant a definite haircut, any disputes were brought up in Kangaroo Court.

You’re not going to shed weight when the food is this good

Chef Situ exceeded the expectation of the lads - from the first meal to last, every meal was a standout. It’s easy to think you’re going to lose weight on a surf trip but when the foods this good that’s a myth!.

Standout session

It’s hard to pinpoint a particular moment of the trip that wasn’t considered to be a standout. From crab racing on the beach, singing Aussie pub classics at the karaoke bar, sunset booze cruises, non-stop banter and scoring empty perfection – everything you want in a boat trip with your buddies.

“How can I go back to work after this?”

Special Thanks

To Northey and Cooky for pulling the trigger after ten years in the works, the crew for always making the operation run smoothly and mother nature for an incredible couple of weeks of weather.
