But back on the topic of waves – chasing Mentawai’s unicorn surf breaks is an art, and a gamble… but when it comes together, oh boy! Perfect swell size and direction fanned by perfect winds. Clocking up 10 hours of absolutely perfect right tubes in one day. One the boys will remember forever.

Such a fun group of lads that were up for everything that was thrown at them. Honestly sad to see this group leave but excited to welcome them back in 2027. As I write this and think back on a few moments the belly laughs come back and remind me it was truly a trip for the ages!

Well, not so fish on. Afternoon trolls on Foxy were a lot of fun as always but unsuccessful. It was only on the way home to Padang we hooked up on a nice Dolly and that was the icing on the cake for a Mighty Mango Madness trip.
