Kurt Cruden and co jump onboard for some Schoolies madness, bringing along dad, Matt, Seano and Snowy to make sure the groms didn’t get out of hand.
MACCAS IN ALL HER NOVEMBER GLORY
We risk sounding like a weathered old record player skipping on its favourite tune, but heavens, this is why the summer sessions are cherished. The Mango found herself sharing the world’s most delectable left with our good friends from Tengirri ….for two days.
While most aboard surrendered their shoulders to rest on day two, Josh and Snowy enjoyed a private session - just the two of them for hours on end. The waves so impossibly perfect, so impossibly empty, that Snowy himself admitted to tears of joy. After seventeen years away, he believed such solitude at Maccas had vanished from this earth. Yet here it was, in all its shimmering glory.
“That was the best day of surfing in my life.”

SCHOOL’S OUT, BOAT CHARTER IN!
Once the groms recovered from a week’s revelry in Bali, The Mango became their floating celebration of freedom - breakfast beers, late-night antics, mast jumps, and frozen margaritas flowed freely at Latitude Zero Telo Islands.
A trip that has been planned for a couple of years now and certainly didn’t let anyone down!

When Kurt Cruden hauled a handsome wahoo over the rail, the call was immediate: Mango’s famed beer-battered fish ’n’ chips, Australian in style and diabolically moreish.

A PREMIUM TELO SLAB
Some among the crew had previously sampled one of Telo’s crown-jewel rights and spoke of it with the reverence. There was a whisper of opportunity, a hint of swell, and so, trusting instinct over certainty, we steamed six hours through the night.
…and the waves were cooking. Some of the lads said it was one of their favourite sessions of the whole trip.
TRUMPED!
Young Claude started asking about having girls on the boat, there’s honestly not much chat to be had on this subject, but when Kurty Cruden chimed into the conversation with some thoughts and ideas of his own…..he was theatrically trumped by dad Matt, in front of all his mates….
